Why a name blanket is a kid favorite

Young kids love seeing their own name. It's one of the first words they learn to spot, and finding it on something soft feels special. A name blanket also solves a real problem at daycare, school and sleepovers, where every blanket looks the same. Add a favorite theme like dinosaurs or books, and it becomes part of how they see themselves. For parents and grandparents, it is a gift that gets used every day and often stays around long after the kids have grown.

Personalization tips

• Use the name your child goes by every day. A nickname can feel more like them than a formal name.
• For photo blankets, choose a clear, well-lit photo where the face fills much of the frame.
• Pick a size based on where it will be used. A smaller size suits a toddler on the couch; a larger one fits a big-kid bed.
• Sherpa feels thicker and warmer, fleece is lighter, and the T-Rex design also offers a thin throw.

When to personalize

Every gift here is made after you personalize it. Add a name, a year, or a short message so the piece feels like it was made just for them.
